balance shaftsMetal shafts attached and located inside the engine cylinder block assembly to counteract crankshaft vibrations. | |
balanced atomAn atom with an equal number of protons and electrons, which cancel each other out so that the atom has no overall charge. | |
ball honeAn assembly of metal rods, with abrasive stones attached, that is inserted into the cylinder and spun to break the glazing off the cylinder walls and make a new crosshatch pattern. | |
